the medium that i use is watercolor...
our professor asked us to draw and paint the "far view"... for example far away sky or highway or street... basta malayo sya dapat sa view mo... i haven't pass this in visuals 2 but this already late and it has a minus grade... anyway i will be passing this in tuesday... ^_^ i have a question does the sky looks like a sky?!? and does the flow of water looks like the flow of water?!? i think it doesn't look like a water and sky right?!? can someone out there give me some advice or tips on how can i make this look like flow of water and sky?!? |

As you asked for advice.. I'm not good at it either but; The sky ussualy doesn't have a "flow". You could make the colours flowing in each other softly, or paint actual clouds.
A water flow often has more ehm.. lines.. or horisontal lines; rather than stains. If you know what I mean.
The best thing to do is practicing reproducing some pictures !

In my opinion water looks like water, seems that there is some mist above it.
Sky looks great, mystical. But if you want more realistic look without any magic, clouds could be more horizontal. Now they look little bit like smoke or something that flows from down to up.
I may not be the best advisor because I like more mystical look than totally realistic!
